How to Edit Your Templates - Lead Form
1. Navigate to https://app.wavecnct.com/login and log in to your admin account. Make sure your account is on the "Wave for Teams" or "Enterprise" plan.
2. Click "Templates"
3. Click "Edit Template"
4. Click "Lead Form"
5. Select the toggle to "Enable" or "Disable" the lead form
Tip: Once a contact scans your digital business card QR code or taps your NFC business card, they will be prompted to exchange contact information. Once they exchange contact information with you, your contact info will be saved to their device. Alternatively, your new contact can click on "or download contact" to download your info without filling out the lead form.
6. Select the toggle to "Enable" or "Disable" the auto follow-up email or SMS
Tip: If the auto follow-up email is enabled, Wave will send a pre-set email to your new contact when they exchange their email with you. This email will include your profile image, contact information, and digital business card profile. The same applies when they share their phone number; Wave will send a pre-set text message from a Wave phone number with your contact info and digital business card link. This email cannot be customized. We suggest keeping it enabled to stay top of mind.
7. Click the "Form Field" to add additional fields to your lead form
8. Click the "Disclaimer Message" Field to add a disclaimer on your lead capture form
9. Click "Save changes" to apply your changes
10. Click the toggle to "Enable" or "Disable" sharing your contact info
Tip: We suggest you enable the contact info button so your new contact can download your contact information to their device.
11. Click the toggle to "Enable" or "Disable" automatically sharing your contact info
Tip: Enabling "Automatically download contact info" will download your contact information to your contacts form BEFORE filling out the lead form.
