Tapping Your Wave NFC Product:

  1. For iPhone Users:

  • Tap or hold the NFC card to the top back of the iPhone. This is where the NFC receiver is located.

  1. For Android Users:

  • Tap the product to the center back of the phone, as this is where the NFC receiver is typically located.

  • Note: Some Android phones have NFC turned off by default. If this is the case, have the recipient scan the QR code on the back of your card to view your digital business card.- On certain devices, you may need to ensure that the NFC reader application is manually opened to enable scanning effectively.

Compatibility:

  • Modern Smartphones:

  • Wave Connect works on all modern smartphones using either the tap or scan function.

  • NFC-Enabled Phones:

  • The tap function is compatible with NFC-enabled phones, including iPhones made in 2018 (iPhone XS and newer) and most Android phones.- Certain older phone models, for instance, iPhone 8 Plus or early Android devices, have less reliable NFC chipsets or may require additional user adjustments.

  • QR Code:

  • For phones without NFC, the QR code on the back of the card can be used.- In case a thick phone case obstructs NFC reading, the QR code provides a reliable alternative method to share your information.

Alternative Sharing Methods:

Troubleshooting Tips

  • Check Device NFC Compatibility: Confirm that the recipient's phone supports NFC and ensure that it is enabled in their device settings.

  • Remove Barriers: Remove any thick phone cases or other materials that might interfere with the chip's signal.

  • Use QR Code as an Alternative: If NFC issues persist, guide the user to scan the QR code on the card. This backup method works universally with smartphones.

  • Open NFC Reader App: On some devices, especially older phone models, the user may need to manually open their NFC reader app to receive the card's information.

  • If the recipient doesn't have their phone:

  • You can share your profile via text or email, ensuring they still receive your contact information.- Additionally, you can customize your profile settings through the app to share specific details like your LinkedIn profile or work website, enhancing its utility based on context.

By following these instructions, you can effectively share your Wave digital business card using either the NFC tap function or the QR code, ensuring compatibility with all modern smartphones.
