How to Assign Users to a Team

Assigning Users to a Team:

There are three ways to assign users to a team in Wave:

  1. Manual Assignment:

    • During User Creation: You can manually assign users to a team during the user creation process.
    • Existing Users: For existing users, click the "..." near the user's name and select "Assign team" to assign them to a team.
  2. CSV Upload:

    • Team ID in CSV: When creating users in bulk via CSV upload, add the team ID to the "Team ID" column of the CSV file.
    • Finding Team IDs: Team IDs can be found in the team settings page. Make sure to place the correct team ID in the corresponding column of your CSV file before uploading.
  3. Auto Assignment via Active Directory:

    • Connect to Active Directory: You can auto-assign teams by connecting to your organization's Active Directory (Microsoft Azure).

By using these methods, you can efficiently assign members to teams, ensuring organized management and streamlined operations within your organization.
